# ViewerBase.ZoomMode Property 
 
Gets/sets a zooming behavior of a control (automatic or manual).

### Property Value
A [ZoomMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ZoomMode.htm.md) member that specifies a zooming behavior.
 
## Remarks
  
In a manual zoom mode, when this property value is [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ZoomMode.htm.md), you can change the bitmap zoom either using the [Zoom](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ViewerBase_Zoom.htm.md) property or some zooming [navigator](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ViewerBase_Navigator.htm.md).
 
When the control is in one of automatic modes ([BestFit](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ZoomMode.htm.md), [FitToWidth](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ZoomMode.htm.md), and so on), you cannot change the zoom manually, that is the [Zoom](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ViewerBase_Zoom.htm.md) value will be ignored. That is why you will need to set this property to [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ZoomMode.htm.md).
 
**Note** 
Note, when you set [Navigator](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ViewerBase_Navigator.htm.md) to some zooming navigator, this property is reset to [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ZoomMode.htm.md).
