# VirtualListView.Gridlines Property 
 
Gets/sets a value indicating whether grid lines should appear between the rows and columns containing the items and subitems in the control.

## Syntax

Public Property Gridlines As Boolean
```
 
```csharp
public bool Gridlines { get; set; }
```
 
### Property Value
 **true** if grid lines are drawn around items and subitems; otherwise, **false**. The default is **false**.
 
## Remarks
 The Gridlines property has no effect unless the [View](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_VirtualListView_View.htm.md) property of the control is set to [Details](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_View.htm.md).
