# BaseViewer.rubberband Property 
 
Gets/sets the rubberband control ID (i.e. value stored in the attribute **id** of the tag that inserts the control).

## Syntax

function get_rubberband();
function set_rubberband(value);
```
 
### Property Value
The value which contains an ID of the rubberband control you need to attach.
 
## Remarks
  
Only the [RectangleRubberband](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_J_GraphicsMill_RectangleRubberband.htm.md) control is available.
