# Cylindrize Class

This class enables you to apply cylindrize transform. Image will be looking like bended on cylinder.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.Transforms](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.dll)

## Syntax

```
Public NotInheritable Class Cylindrize _Inherits BitmapTransform
```

```csharp
public sealed class Cylindrize : BitmapTransform
```

## Remarks
 This class is useful if you need to emulate the image to be bended on the cylinder surface, for example, mug. In this case the following sequence is used:
1. [Resize](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Resize.htm.md) bitmap to fit it to cylinder parameters.
2. Use Cylindrize transform to distort image.
3. Combine distorted bitmap and mug image using [Combiner](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Combiner.htm.md) class, [Draw(Bitmap, Rectangle, Rectangle, CombineMode, Single, InterpolationMode)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Bitmap_Draw_6_936bf27d.htm.md) method, or any other way.

You can specify a number of cylinder parameters - height ([CylinderHeight](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_CylinderHeight.htm.md) property), half-perimeter ([CylinderHalfPerimeter](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_CylinderHalfPerimeter.htm.md) property), color ([CylinderColor](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_CylinderColor.htm.md) property). You also can specify position of the image relatively top left corner of the "face" part of cylinder ([HorizontalOffset](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_HorizontalOffset.htm.md) and [VerticalOffset](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_VerticalOffset.htm.md) properties). If the cylinder (e.g. mug) is tilted, you can take it into account with [SlopeAngle](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_SlopeAngle.htm.md) property. And of course like for any other geometry bitmap transform, you can specify interpolation algorithm ([InterpolationMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_InterpolationMode.htm.md) property) and background color ([BackgroundColor](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_Transforms_Cylindrize_BackgroundColor.htm.md) property).

All the coordinates and sizes are measured in units specified with [Unit](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_UnitConverterHandler_Unit.htm.md) property.
