# ListColumnCollection Class

This class represents a storage for [ListColumn](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListColumn.htm.md) objects of the [ThumbnailListView](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ThumbnailListView.htm.md) control.

**Namespace:** [Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WinControls](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/N_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls.htm.md)
 **Assembly:** Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WinControls (in Aurigma.GraphicsMill.WinControls.dll)

## Syntax

```
<DefaultMemberAttribute("Item")> _
Public Class ListColumnCollection _Inherits CollectionBase _Implements IList, ICollection, IEnumerable
```

```csharp
[DefaultMemberAttribute("Item")]
public class ListColumnCollection : CollectionBase, IList, ICollection, IEnumerable
```

## Remarks

When you display items in the [Details](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_View.htm.md) view mode, each item is displayed as a row in a table. Each column display a piece of information about the item. For example, if you display a file list, you can use three columns: name, type, and size.

If you are going to use the [Details](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_View.htm.md) view, you should should create required number of [ListColumn](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListColumn.htm.md) class instances and add them with the [Add(ListColumn)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListColumnCollection_Add_1_2a29ac70.htm.md) method. Later you can remove them with the [Remove(ListColumn)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListColumnCollection_Remove_1_2a29ac70.htm.md) method, or insert the column to certain position (see the [Insert(Int32, ListColumn)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListColumnCollection_Insert_2_0c376edb.htm.md) method). If you need to re-initialize columns, you can remove all of them with the [Clear()](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListColumnCollection_Clear.htm.md) method and add them once again.
