# ListItemCollection Class
 
This class represents storage for list items the [ThumbnailListView](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ThumbnailListView.htm.md) control.

## Remarks
  
This class is never created directly and available only through the [Items](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ThumbnailListView_Items.htm.md) of the [ThumbnailListView](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ThumbnailListView.htm.md) control. Use it to work with items displayed in this contol.
 
To add new items, use the [Add(IListItem\[\])](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_Add_1_0586ec24.htm.md) method. Also, you can insert items to specified position using the [Insert(Int32, IListItem\[\])](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_Insert_2_29690e7f.htm.md) method. In both cases [ItemInserting](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/E_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_ItemInserting.htm.md) and [ItemsInserted](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/E_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_ItemsInserted.htm.md) events will be raised.
 
To remove items, use the [Remove(IListItem\[\])](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_Remove_1_0586ec24.htm.md) or [RemoveAt(Int32)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_RemoveAt_1_e1836fc4.htm.md) method. If it is necessary to remove all methods from the collection. To handle items removal, you can use [ItemRemoving](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/E_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_ItemRemoving.htm.md) and [ItemsRemoved](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/E_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_ItemsRemoved.htm.md) events.
 
To get access to items stored in this collection, use the [Item\[Int32\]](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_Item_1_e1836fc4.htm.md) property. Also, if you want to get items which meet some criteria (e.g. all selected items), use the [GetItemsByState(StateType, Boolean, Boolean)](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/M_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ListItemCollection_GetItemsByState_3_4ff6e281.htm.md) method.
