# PrintPlaceholder Class
 
This class incapsulates the single item printed in the [ImagePrintDocument](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ImagePrintDocument.htm.md) class.

## Remarks
  
The placeholder (printed item) is defined by the following elements:
 
- An image which should be printed. It is specified with the [Image](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintPlaceholder_Image.htm.md) property.
- A header text. It is specified with the [Header](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintPlaceholder_Header.htm.md) property.
- A footer text. It is specified with the [Footer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintPlaceholder_Footer.htm.md) property.

When you place the placeholder manually, you can define its position using [Location](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintPlaceholder_Location.htm.md) property. Also, you can set the dimensions of the placeholder using the [Size](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintPlaceholder_Size.htm.md) property. If the image has the different size, it will be resized or cropped depending on the [ImageFitMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintOptions_ImageFitMode.htm.md) property of the [PrintOptions](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_PrintOptions.htm.md) used by the [ImagePrintDocument](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_ImagePrintDocument.htm.md) which prints this item.
