# WorkspaceBackgroundStyle Enumeration
 
Contains the values that defines the background of the bitmap when it has alpha channel and alpha blending is enabled at the control ([AlphaEnabled](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer_AlphaEnabled.htm.md) property of the [BitmapViewer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer.htm.md) is **true**).

|   |  Member name |  Description |
| --- | --- | --- |
 |   |  None |  No specific background for the image is used. The background color is the same as a background color of the entire control. |
 |   |  Solid |  The background is filled with the solid color. This color is specified with the [WorkspaceBackColor1](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer_WorkspaceBackColor1.htm.md) property. |
 |   |  Grid |  The checkboard grid is displayed. The primary checkboard color is specified by the [WorkspaceBackColor1](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer_WorkspaceBackColor1.htm.md) property, the secondary one - by the [WorkspaceBackColor2](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer_WorkspaceBackColor2.htm.md) property of the [BitmapViewer](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gm5/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_WinControls_BitmapViewer.htm.md). |
