# BaseViewer.ZoomMode Property

Gets/sets a value that specifies content zoom mode of the control (automatic or manual).

### Property Value
 [ZoomMode](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_ZoomMode.htm.md) enumeration member that specifies the zooming behavior.
 
## Remarks
  
In manual zoom mode (i.e. if the value of this property is [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_ZoomMode.htm.md)) user can change the content zoom either by [Zoom](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_Zoom.htm.md) property or using some zooming [navigator](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_Navigator.htm.md).
 
If automatic zoom (except [ZoomControl](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_ZoomMode.htm.md)) mode is used and you attempt to change [Zoom](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_Zoom.htm.md) value manually, ZoomMode property will be set to [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_ZoomMode.htm.md).
 
**Note** 
When you set some zooming navigator into the [Navigator](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/P_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_BaseViewer_Navigator.htm.md) property, this property is reset to [None](https://www.graphicsmill.com/docs/gmwc/T_Aurigma_GraphicsMill_AjaxControls_ZoomMode.htm.md).
